Fay Gress

Fay Gress, 56, of Amarillo died Thursday October 27, 2005 in Amarillo. Funeral Service will be today at 10:00 AM at Comanche Trail Church of Christ with Loran Harper, minister of Comanche Trail Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 South Osage St. Amarillo Texas. Fay was born May 6, 1949 in Dimmitt Texas and married Larry Gress in 1992. She was a wonderful wife, and enjoyed spending time with her grandsons and enjoyed racing. She was heavily involved in her work at Bruckner's, where she was currently employed. She will be missed very much. Survivors include her husband, Larry Gress; two sons, Jim Gress and his fianc, Mollie Barney; and Bobby Gress and his wife Tiffany; both of Amarillo. Her parents, Bill and Polly Avent of Amarillo; four sisters; Kay Tipping and her husband Bobby; Jan Burchfield and her husband, Lynn; Terri Cox and her husband, Chuck all of Amarillo; and Polly Ann Gifford and her husband Ed of Sugarland TX; one brother Jack Avent and his wife Pat of Follett TX; a sister-in-law, Jane Mosier and her husband Gordon of Terre Haute, Indiana; two grandsons, Tyler Gress and Braden Gress both of Amarillo; nine nephews, one niece, 2 great nephews and one great niece.
