Finis N. Hall 78, of Amarillo died Friday February 5, 2010 at hi home. Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Rev. Don Ralston, pastor of New Beginnings Gospel Church officiating. Cremation and arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Hall was born on March 5, 1931 in Childress to George W. and Mary I. (Morris) Hall. He lived in Amarillo most of his life. He worked as a carpet installer for many years. Mr. Hall enjoyed having coffee every morning with his family and friends at the Stockman's Caf. He also met many of them for lunch. He was a great husband, father and friend. Mr. Hall was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. He married Alma Doris Lemley on November 2, 1952. They were married 57 years. Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers, Garland, Weldon, Buford, Ray and John; 3 sisters, Bertha Mae Johnson, Aileen Bass and Fayme Fowler; his daughter Shirley Davis and 2 grandsons, Jason Fisher and Jerry Hall, III. He is survived by his wife, Alma of the home; 1 daughter, Sharon Kay ""Kate"" Fisher of Amarillo; 4 sons, Paul Hall and his wife Linda of Sayre, OK, Jimmy Hall and his wife Barbara, David Hall and his wife Tania and Jerry Hall and his wife Cheryl all of Amarillo; 2 brothers, Woody Hall of Stroud, OK and Jim Hall of Amarillo; 4 sisters, Berniece Rushings of Iowa Park, Mary Lou Charles, Irene Johnson and Oleta Boroughs all of Amarillo; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be to the New Beginnings Gospel Church 1400 SW 8th Avenue Amarillo, Texas 79101.
