Florine Worsham

Florine Worsham, 82 of Amarillo died Friday August 22, 2008 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Monday at Memorial Park Cemeteryn with Jed Humphrey, Minister of Worship at South Georgia Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Worsham was born in Lubbock on September 2, 1925 to J.L. and Lethie (Burrows) Hamm. She graduated from Floydada High School in 1943. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an avid collector of dolls and music boxes. She married Jack Worsham on March 4, 1944. Together, they owned and operated Jack's Plumbing and Jack's Wholesale Plumbing as well as various real estate interests. Survivors include her husband, 1 daughter, Juanita Worsham of Amarillo; 1 son Kenneth A. Worsham of Kirkland, WA; 2 grandchildren, Charles Scholl and his wife Lenora of Orlando, FL and Stephen Scholl and his wife Fleeta of Amarillo; and 3 great-grandchildren, Brandon, Ahnaka and Sebastian.
