Frances Allison

Frances Allison 91 of Amarillo died Monday May 22, 2007 at Ware Memorial Care Center. Memorial services will be at 10:30 AM Friday at Park Place Towers Parlor with Jerry Bell chaplain of Baptist Community Services officiating. Interment will be at Littlefield Memorial Park. Cremation and arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 8310 S. Coulter St. Amarillo, Texas. Mrs. Allison was born in Chillicothe. She lived in Crosbyton, Alanreed and Lubbock before moving to Amarillo in 1981. She graduated from Littlefield High School. She worked for Southwestern Public Service in Littlefield and retired in 1981 as Senior Clerk. She married Frank Allison in 1938 at Clovis, NM. She and her husband owned and operated a Studebaker dealership in Levelland and farmed near Littlefield. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1968. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Amarillo. Survivors include her daughter; Jean Brown and her husband Cordell of Hot Springs Village, Ark, 1 son: Don Allison and his wife Kathie of Amarillo, 4 grandchildren; Bradley Brown, Kendall Brown, Melissa Root and Erin Cairns and 8 great-grandchildren; Katie Eller-Brown, Sam Brown, Kelsey Brown, Jaycee Anderson, Ashley Root, Nicole Root, J.T. Sharp and Devin Cairns. The family wishes to thank all of the doctors, nurses and staff of Ware Memorial Living Center and Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice for the loving care given to Mrs. Allison.
