Frances Juanell Thompson

Frances Juanell Thompson, 76, died January 07, 2014 at her home. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Juanell was born in Hollis, Oklahoma on September 20, 1937.She graduated from high school in Crosbyton, Texas. Juanell met Chuck her future husband in Amarillo and they were married for 56 years until his death in September 2013. Though Juanell was in poor health for most of her adult life, she devoted herself to the care and wellbeing of her family. At the time of her death, she was surrounded by her loving children. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles (Chuck) Thompson on Sept. 28th 2013 and by her father Truitt Jennings in 1984. She is survived by her mother Minnie Ola Jennings, her children Kristi Lowe- Paris, Kevin Thompson and wife Cheri, and Kara Camp and husband Blair. She is also survived by two sisters Maxine Johnson and husband Murrel and Jean Perras, two brothers Jimmy Jennings and wife Cynthia and Harold Jennings and wife Tempie, one aunt Neoma Nelson, two sisters-in-law Marilyn Searles and Ardy Jeffries, and a brother-in-law Willis Thompson. She left a legacy of 5 grand children Nathan Lowe, Julie Thompson, Andrea Thompson, Casey Camp, and Jenna Camp and 5 great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Interim Hospice Care for taking such wonderful care of Juanell during her illness.
