A celebration of her life will be at 10:00 am Saturday, June 18 at Calvary Baptist Church with Hershel Smith, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. LaVerne was born on April 29, 1921 in Shinnery. She married Arnold Webster in November of 1938, and they moved to Amarillo in 1942. LaVerne enjoyed crocheting, painting, and making ceramic roses. She took great pride in her work, making sure to have everything completed with the utmost perfection. Her faith in God was unshakable, and she dedicated her life to leading her children and grandchildren to salvation through Jesus Christ. She was a strong willed, compassionate, and unselfish person that will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband; a grandson, Johnny Collins; a sister, Klyda Wilson; and a brother, C.E. Coleman. Survivors include 3 sons, Ernest ""Lee"" Webster and wife Judy, Billy Joe Webster and wife Debra both of Amarillo, and Bobby Webster and wife Carol of San Marcos; 2 daughters, LaNelle Brogdon of Waco, and Reba Baldwin and husband Bob of Amarillo; 18 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be made to Olivia's Angels, and BSA Hospice and Life Enrichment Center.
