Frieda Mae Daniels

Frieda Mae (Duckworth) Daniels 75, of Amarillo died Friday April 20, 2012 in Amarillo. Services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Jim Shelburne, pastor of Washington Avenue Christian Church officiating. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Daniels was born in Hedley. She lived in Amarillo most of her life. She was a homemaker and had worked at Caprock High School during the years her children were in high school. She married Rufus Daniels on December 24, 1954 in Clovis, NM. He preceded her in death in 2003. Mrs. Daniels is survived by 3 daughters, Linda Hanks and Lori Kellison and her husband Rodney all of Amarillo and Sharon Morgan and her husband Danny of Shreveport, LA; 2 sons, Donnie Daniels and his wife Karen and Kip Daniels and his wife Treva all of Amarillo; 1 sister, Tula Newkirk of Amarillo; 8 grandchildren, Jason, Katy, Kasondra, Tyler, Jared, Kyle, Josh and Ashleigh and 11 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday and Monday at 3709 Bismarck.
