Garland Ray “GP” Frazier

Garland Ray “GP” Frazier, 85, of Amarillo, TX passed away January 5, 2026.

Memorial service will be at 1:00 PM, Friday, January 9, 2026 at Rector Pioneer Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home.

G.P. was born July 21, 1940 in Shattuck, OK to Champ and Janice Frazier. He married Sherry Piersall on July 5, 1958, in Catesby, OK at the family farm.

G.P. loved fishing, billiards, going to the casino, and watching the Cowboys with his grandsons. He was a huge Dodgers fan and he loved his family and his students.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Frazier.

G.P. is survived by his wife Sherry Frazier; sister, Reta Love and husband Glen of Beaver, OK; son, Dennis Frazier and wife Jannine of Holden, MA; daughter, Patricia Jan Dominguez and husband Tony of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren, Antonio Dominguez Jr. and wife Leigh Ann, Brandon Ray Dominguez, Jacquelyn Richards and husband Nate, and Victoria Rae Marzo and husband Steven; and great-grandchildren, Kaybreigh Patricia, Ember Brayd, Jack, Nora, and one on the way.
