Gary Geisler 71, of Amarillo died Wednesday, October 5, 2016 in Amarillo. Graveside Services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday at Llano East Cemetery, Field of Valor with Curtis House, pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship Church officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Gary was born July 30, 1945 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Paul and June Geisler. He moved to Lubbock in 1978 and Amarillo in 1992. Gary was a skilled sheet metal worker and fearless roofer for 50 years. He worked for West Texas Roofing for 24 years. In his personal life, he was an easy-going and loveable jokester. Gary is survived by two daughters, Shannon Geisler and Kristina Geisler; two sons, Gary Joseph Geisler, Jr. and Jared Hightower; three sisters, Peggy Geisler, Judy Todd, and Debbie Allday; five brothers, Donald Geisler, Chris Geisler, Mickey Geisler, J.B. Geisler, and Wayne Geisler; and 11 grandchildren. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be to Texas Oncology 1000 S.
