Gary Steve Guinn, 68, of Amarillo died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012. Graveside services were at 10 a.m. today in Llano Cemetery with Jed Humphrey, minister of worship at South Georgia Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Guinn was born June 9, 1944 in Amarillo to June and Marion Steve Guinn. He was honorably discharged from the Army as a 2nd Class Gunner. Mr. Guinn worked at Custom Wholesale Supply as a sales representative for several years. He retired in 2010 . He married Margie Moore on Sept. 12, 1994, in Amarillo. He loved spending time with his family and was loved by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Mr. Guinn was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing and loved taking care of his yard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and June McDonald and Marion Steve Guinn, and two sons, Michael Guinn and Shawn Hill. Survivors include his wife; four sons, Jimmy Wayne Guinn, Bobby D. Craddock and Shane Hill, all of Amarillo, and Steven Wayne Hill of Borger; three daughters, Michelle ""Chelly"" Stotts of Amarillo, Cindy Burns of McAlister, Okla., and Misty Miller of Pryor, Okla.; three sisters, Marion Brazel and husband Doug, Vicky Guinn and Michelle Fowlkes and husband Bo, all of Amarillo; three aunts, Virginia Pair, La Verne Rosenbaum and husband John, all of Amarillo, and Georgie Sego of Dallas; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces ,nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to Olivia's Angels, in care of Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79176.
