George Romero was born in Amarillo on September 22, 1952, to Sinforsa and Jose Romero. George had a personality that lit up the room when he stepped in it. His loving, giving, and joking personality was one of a kind. He was always making someone laugh or up to something mischievous. He met his wife Jennifer playing pool. In true George fashion, he finally got around to marrying Jennifer on March 15, 2021, after 15 years of dating. George was an avid pool player but also enjoyed dancing, playing horseshoes, and reading Louis Lamour books. His true passion was cheering on the Dallas Cowboys. His catchphrases were "Oh Lord" and "I know thats right!" his grandchildren have fallen right into that same path. His nieces and nephews called him Uncle G and his grandchildren referred him to grandpa George. It didnt matter what they called him, because he was so proud of his family. They meant everything to him. George is preceded in death by his parents.
