Georgia Driskill

Georgia Driskill 93, of Amarillo died Saturday, December 10, 2016 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, December 19, 2016 at Llano Cemetery with Rev. Davis F. Driskill, son officiating. Interment will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Driskill was born on September 14, 1923 in Yorktown, Texas. She moved to Amarillo in 1957 from Germany. She was a homemaker and a member of Pullman Road Baptist Church. She loved cooking for her family. She married Forest F. Driskill on May 22, 1943. He preceded her in death in 2012. She was also preceded in death by a son, William "Bill" Driskill in 1947. Survivors include two sons, Charles Driskill and Rev. David F. Driskill and his wife Helen all of Amarillo; one daughter, Elizabeth Ann Driskill of Amarillo; two grandchildren, Michael Driskill and his wife Amy and Laura Kile and her husband Mike and 5 great-grandchildren, Hannah, Jet, Tate, Noah and Gracie. Viewing will be from 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Saturday, December 17, 2016 and 12:30 PM - 7:00 PM Sunday, December 18, 2016.
