Georgia Lee Mcpherson

Georgia Lee McPherson 82 of Amarillo died Monday April 21, 2008 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday at Llano Cemetery with Gerald Reynolds of the Cowboy Church and the Arena of Life officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Amarillo, Texas. Ms. McPherson was born in McLean. She moved to Amarillo in 2006 from McLean. She worked as a floor manager at API and a waitress. Her most important job was being a mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of McLean. She was preceded in death by a daughter Cheryl Lynn McPherson in 1962. Survivors include: 2 daughters, Margaret Phipps of Amarillo, and Mary Starkes and her husband Steve of Dallas; 1 sister, Lottie Womble of Amarillo; 6 grandchildren, Jim, Dusty, Johnny, Coleman, Stephanie and Shannon and 13 great-grandchildren.
