Georgia Webb

Georgia Christine Webb, 85, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, June 18, 2002. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Thursday at Rosehill Cemetery in Tulia with Frank Garcia, minister of Philadelphia Church of God, and Rick Gunter, a close family friend officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage Street. Ms. Webb was born in Vigo Park, Texas. She lived in Amarillo for 50 years. She worked as a waitress for several restaurants including the Canton Restaurant for several years. She also worked as a private house keeper for many years before retiring. She was a member of the Philadelphia Church of God. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Maynard Webb in 1972, her mother, Lueazer Brooks Webb in 1978, a brother, Vanoy Webb in 1929, 2 sisters, Barbara Modena “Sis” Barker Stallings in 1996, and Novelle Mullins in 2000. Survivors include: 2 sisters, Bobbie Mae Allison of Montclair, CA, and Be Be Hollabaugh of Colorado Springs, CO; and many nieces and nephews. The family will be greeting visitors at the funeral home from 3:00 - 4:30pm on Wednesday.
