Gerald Mosser

Gerald Mosser 68, of Amarillo died Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021 in Amarillo. Services will be at 2 pm Friday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Gerald was born in St. Joseph, MO on June 4, 1952 to Wilber Glen and Carolyn Maxine (Johnson) Mosser. He moved to Amarillo in 1977 from Sioux City, IA. He worked at IBP until 1972 and retired as a forklift driver at Americold in 2017. After retiring, Gerald enjoyed working as an Uber driver. Gerald had a passion for motorcycles, He was an avid bowler and enjoyed sports. He coached, football, track and Little League Baseball for many years. He also enjoyed traveling to Disney World. He married Ruby Langenbacher on Jan. 7, 1978. He was a great husband, father and grandfather and cherished his grandchildren. Gerald is survived by his wife; two sons, Eddie Roberts and Bryan David Mosser and his wife Samantha; one daughter Christina Murray and her husband Cody; one brother, Terry Mosser and seven grandchildren.
