Grace Clayton Jackson

Grace Clayton Jackson 78 of Amarillo died Friday January 11, 2008. Services will be at 11:00 AM Monday at Family Worship Center with Max Beggs, pastor officiating. Interment will be at Llano East Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Amarillo, Texas Mrs. Jackson was born in Van Buren, AR. She moved to Borger in 1930 and to Amarillo in 1941. She worked as a bookkeeper at various service stations and auto repair shops that she and her husband, Gerald Clayton owned and operated. She was a member of Family Worship Center. Mrs. Jackson married Gerald Clayton in 1945. He preceded her in death in 1988. She married Ernest Jackson in 1996. Survivors include: her husband of the home, 1 daughter; Sharron Harris and her husband Sid of Amarillo, 3 sons; Gary Don Clayton and his wife Cheri, Dennis Lee Clayton and his wife Linda and Randy J. Clayton and his wife Dianna all of Amarillo, 2 sisters; Doris Cain and Rosalee Robinson both of Amarillo, 1 brother; Gerald Fowler of Kansas City, MO, 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.
