Guadalupe P. Ventura

Guadalupe "Lupina" P. Ventura, 75, of Amarillo passed May 8, 2018. She was born December 12, 1942 in Palau Coahuila, Mexico to Gilberto Perez and Maria de Los Angeles Hernandez Perez. She was introduced by her Father to her future Husband Guadalupe "Wally" B Ventura, they were married June 1, 1963. She worked for Bozos, Tortilla factory and Levi Jeans, she also cleaned homes and cared for the elderly. As she got older and unable to care for herself, her granddaughter Ariel took care of her. She loved the color red, collecting roosters for decorating the home, spending time outside with her chickens, planting flowers, she loved sewing and studying the bible with whoever was with her. She always told her daughters and sisters never to leave home without lipstick. Preceded in death by her: Parents; Son Richard Ventura; Brother Enrique Perez; Sisters Mary Ester Villanueva and Maggie Meza; grandchildren Eliseo Ventura and Jacqueline Ventura. Survived by her: Husband; Sons Martin and Wife Mary Ann Ventura and Peter Ventura; Daughters Nora and Husband Ben Moreno and Dalia Ventura; Brothers Pedro, Ramon, Gilbert and George Perez; Sisters Angela Perales, Rosa Bentancourt and Mary Ramirez; Many Grandchildren; Great-Grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday May 10, 2018 10 AM- 8PM at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 South Osage .
