Halit Haliti

Halit Haliti, 37 of Amarillo died Tuesday November 6, 2007 at Gallup, NM. Service will be at 12:30 PM Saturday at The Islamic Center of Amarillo. A public viewing will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday at the funeral Home. Burial will be Friday in Kosovo. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Amarillo, Texas. Halit was born in Gjlan, Kosovo. He moved to Amarillo in 1999 from Kosovo. He worked for Plains Transportation as a truck driver. Halit became a US Citizen in 2004 He married Hasije Berisha in 1991. Survivors include: His wife, 3 daughters; Arbnore Haliti, Arta Haliti and Lirje Haliti all of Amarillo, 1 son; Ilir Haliti of Amarillo, 1 brother; Bilall Haliti and wife Valbona both of Amarillo and his mother Rejije Haliti of Kosovo.
