Helen P. Haese

Helen P. Haese, 93 of Amarillo died Thursday October 11, 2007 in Amarillo. Services will be held at a later time in the Texas Hill Country. Cremation and arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 8310 S. Coulter St. Amarillo, Texas. Mrs. Haese was born in Marion, Texas. She moved to Amarillo in 1965 from Phoenix, AZ. She married Bob Haese in 1933. He preceded her in death in 1986. She worked in hospital and nursing home administration and was a member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. Survivors include: 1 daughter, Mary Gamel and husband Bill of Amarillo; 1 son, Robert S. Haese and fiance, Paula of Amarillo; 1 granddaughter, Emily Cox and husband, Jesse of Amarillo; 2 grandsons, Corey Haese and wife Laura of Dallas, and Jonathan Gamel and wife Tacy of Lubbock; and 3 great-grandchildren, Lennon Haese, Zachary Stone, and Kenadee Haese Cox. The family requests memorials be made to Odyssey Hospice, or a favorite charity.
