Horton Mcgaha

Horton ""Mack"" McGaha, 83, of Amarillo, died Wednesday. No services scheduled at this time. Cremation and arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage Street. Mr. McGaha was born in Gallegos, NM. He has lived in Amarillo most of his life. He worked for many years as a minister, teacher and nurse. He was a missionary Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Yadie McGaha and by a sister LaVona Hollinger. Survivors include: 2 nieces, Vera Holdaway of Ft. Worth, and Velva Lane of Amarillo; 1 nephew, Jerry Hollinger of Amarillo; 6 great nieces & nephews; and many great-great nieces & nephews. The body will not be available for viewing. Memorial Donations: Baptist Childrens Home, Waxahachie, Texas.
