Hurry Kane Lott

Hurry Kane Lott, 57, of Amarillo died on Friday August 25, 2006 in Amarillo. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at 2:00 PM in Trinity Fellowship Church, North Auditorium, with Pastor Dewayne Hollis, of Trinity Fellowship Church officiating. Interment will take place in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, Osage Chapel, 2800 South Osage, Amarillo TX 79103. Military rites will be by the local DAV Chapter #26. Hurry Kane married Ruth Williams on October 19, 1981 in Amarillo. They would have been married 25 years this October. He was a grocery store manager for almost 20 years. He previously worked for United, Furrs, and Piggly Wiggly Supermarkets. He would meet his friends for coffee everyday, and enjoyed their company. He was a dedicated father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was a member of Trinity Fellowship Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the entire staff of the VA Medical Center ICU for the loving care they provided. He is survived by his wife, Ruth of the home; two daughters, Sherry Johnson and her husband Ryan of Amarillo; and Sabrina Lott of Amarillo; three sons, Cary Leonard of Hutchinson Kansas; Donald Leonard and Brent Lott, both of Amarillo; five grandchildren, Candace Gelaton, Amanda Powers, Aaron Walker, Aspen Johnson, and Austin Johnson; his mother and father-in-law, Paul and Arlene Williams of Peabody Kansas; four aunts and one uncle. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 1131 Fairfax, VA 22038-1131. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 PM 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
