Idotha Allen Poling

Idotha Allen Poling 85, of Amarillo, died Friday, August 28, 2015 in Amarillo. Services will be at 10:00 AM Monday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Loran Harper, pastor of Comanche Trail Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S Osage St. Mrs. Poling was born on May 15, 1930 in Hereford to Ben and Emma Reeves. She moved to Amarillo in 1968 from Midland. Mrs. Poling worked at St. Antonys Hospital as a unit clerk for many years. She retired in 1981. Mrs. Poling was a homemaker in her later years. She was a devout Christian and a faithful member of Comanche Trail Church of Christ. She married Paul Poling in 1980. He preceded her in death in 2005. She was also preceded in death by and infant son, Carl Wayne Allen and a grandson, Eric Shane Stephenson. She is survived by 3 daughters, Carla Kirkland and her husband Dave of Littleton, CO, Brenda Sardagna and her husband Peter of California and Linda Crum and her husband Terry of Amarillo; 5 grandchildren, John, Jason, Stacy, Steve and Janet and 14 great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorial donations be to Comanche Trail Church of Christ, 2700 E. 34th Ave. Amarillo, Texas 79103.
