Ignacio Gonzeles Holguin

Ignacio Gonzeles Holguin, 89, of Amarillo passed September 12, 2018. Ignacio "Andy" Holguin was born February 1, 1929 in Santa Anna, Texas to Francisco and Isabel Holguin. He served honorably in the Air Force and was awarded the American Theater Ribbon and WW II Victory Medal. Andy and Antonia Barrera Holguin were married 43 years. Andy loved his family, fishing, boxing, dancing, the lottery and especially helping others. He is preceded by his Parents. He is survived by his wife, son, Danny, stepchildren, David Rodriguez, wife Tricia, Vicky Munoz, Lisa Shaw, Tom Rodriguez, wife Sheila, and Stefanie Harmon. Surviving Siblings Andres, Mary Holguin Soria, Linda Soria, Rosa Hernandez, Ruth Villagran, deceased siblings Frank, Paul, Luis, Johnny, Smitty (Ishmael), and Raymond. He has over 20 nieces and nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Rosary will be said at 6 pm Sunday September 16, 2018 by Adele Andrada at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Amarillo TX 79103.
