Imelda Faye Scott

Imelda Faye Scott 88, of Amarillo died Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 11am Tuesday at Llano East Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Ms. Scott was born on Nov. 18, 1932 in Canadian. She moved to Amarillo in 1951 from Pampa. Imelda worked as a cashier for Furr Foods, Homeland and Food Emporium. After her retirement in 1997, she went to work part time in the shoe department at Sears. Imelda was an avid bowler and loved her horses. Her favorite thing in life was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by four sons, James Scott, Johnny Scott, Billy Scott and David Scott and his wife Mae all of Amarillo; two brothers, Jimmy Chesher and Albert Chesher; nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
