Imogene Jennings Harris

Imogene Jennings Harris, 85, died Monday, November 12, 2007 in Tulia. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, November 15, 2007 in the First Presbyterian Church of Tulia with Reverend Terry Hart, officiating. Mrs. Harris died November 12, 2007 at Swisher Memorial Hospital. She was a teacher's aide in the Tulia Public Schools for many years. She was active in her church as an Elder, member of the Session, Sunday School Teacher, and member of the choir. She is survived by a daughter and her husband, Lisa and Glenn Gore of Tulia; grandchildren Harris and Elizabeth Gore of McAllen, Texas; Alexandria, Dalan, Samantha, Parker, Stephanie, Ty-Ty, Riley Hade, Raphael, Grant, and Latisha Gore of Tulia, Texas; Andrea Sauseda of Crane, Texas, Josie Cruz of Lamesa. Texas. There were also numerous foster grandchildren that lovingly called her grandmother. Surviving siblings are Ernestine Bennett, Ruidoso, New Mexico; Lucille Barbour, Canyon, Texas; Faye Henthorne, Tulia, Texas; Bob Jennings, Thousand Oaks, California; and Kay Robinson, of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. D. ""Sonny"" Harris and her parents, Bob and Lois Jennings. The family requests that memorials be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Tulia.
