Jack Truman Fisher 73 of Amarillo died Friday August 8, 2008 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Llano Cemetery with Gregory Pride officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Fisher was born in Springfield, MO. He moved to Amarillo in 1969 from California. He worked as a painter for Kenneth Simpson and Jack Provence. Mr. Fisher married Frances Osborn on Jan. 21, 1956 at Carlsbad, NM. He was a Baptist. Mr. Fisher loved riding 4 wheelers and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of the home; 1 daughter, Kathy Fisher of Amarillo; 4 sons, Larry Wayne Fisher and his wife Tammy of Muscatine, IA, Kenneth Jack Fisher of Pensacola, FL and Byron Dayton Fisher and his wife Deborah and Starlen Keith Fisher and his wife Sharon all of Rio Rancho, NM; 2 sisters, Freda Neal and Barbara Daughtery both of Springfield, MO; 3 brothers, Robert Fisher and Lyle Fisher both of Springfield, MO and John W. Fisher of Amarillo; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. Periman and the staff of Texas Onclolgy and BSA Hospice.
