Jackie Mcintire

Jackie McIntire 79 of Amarillo died Tuesday, July 10, 2018 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 11:00 am Saturday at Mobeetie Cemetery in Mobeetie with Lynn Rector officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Jackie was born in McKinney on May 15, 1939. He moved to Amarillo in 1966 from Borger. He married Joyce Hooker in 1968 in Dalhart. Jackie worked for Harrington Exxon and owned and operated several service stations in Amarillo. He was a "Jack of all trades" and enjoyed carpentry work. He is survived by his wife, Joyce; one son, Jackie Wayne McIntire of Arlington; one daughter, Cathy Stott of Paris; one sister, Patsy Pierce of Amarillo; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Lisa, Sean and Sara; six great-grandchildren, Nicole, Zachary, Madison, Blake, Casey and Brice and two great-great-grandchildren. Viewing will be from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. Memorial Donations can be made to the Mobeetie Cemetery Association, in care of First State Bank Mobeetie, 101 S.
