James William Cronic,76, of Amarillo died Tues. October 22, 2019. Services will be at 10 Am Fri. Oct. 25 at Rector Funeral Home. Arrangements and cremation by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. James William Cronic was born June 6, 1943 to James and Mildred Cronic in Bloomington, IL. He was a creative man who loved to paint and listen to music. James lived life to the extreme. He didnt do anything just a little bit, James went all out in a very big way, no matter what it was. He wasnt someone who just fell in line. James was very bold, a statement maker and a leader. James was a story teller. He loved to make his grandchildren laugh. He was a very proud Papa. James was preceded in death by his parents, the love of his life for 54 years Elizabeth Cronic, a son in-law Mike Grizzard, and a nephew, Gabe "Chapo" Leal. He is survived by his daughter Jamie Grizzard, his sister Karen sue Brown, his brother Roy Edward Cronic, three grandsons; Dustin Cronic, Blake Myrick, and Sturgius Parker, 14 great grandchildren and many many nieces and nephews.
