James Forrester

James ""Jim"" Forrester, 62 of Amarillo died Thursday April 20, 2006 in Amarillo. Memorial Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday at South Lawn Baptist Church with Don Forrester of Faith Baptist Church of Fredericksburg, VA officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Coulter Chapel, 8310 South Coulter Amarillo. Mr. Forrester was born in Ft. Worth. He lived in Amarillo most of his life. He worked for the Santa Fe Railroad for 33 years. He married Lillian Bailey in 1981 at Amarillo. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Amarillo. Survivors include: his wife, Lillian of the home; 1 daughter, Andrea Shields of Parker, CO; 1 son, Barry Forrester of Amarillo; 1 step-daughter, Andrea Rogers of Bedford, TX; his parents, Andrew and Frances Forrester of Amarillo; 4 brothers, Allen Forrester of Cleburne, Don Forrester, Perry Forrester, and Steve Forrester all of Fredericksburg, Virginia; 1 granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
