James 'Jim' Rosner

James Jim Rosner, 77 of Amarillo died Wednesday, June 11, 2014 in Amarillo Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel. With Brad Hollingsworth officiating. Cremation and Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Amarillo, Texas. Jimbo was born on March 31, 1937 to Richard and Evelyn Rosner. He loved doing leather work and rock, Jimbo also enjoyed going hunting and camping. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and friends. He especially loved the company of his pal Rufus. Jimbo was part Cherokee Indian and enjoyed playing drum. He was a very intelligent man and taught us all a very valuable lesson. Jimbo will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. He is survived by a daughter, Lesa Stark and husband Jim of Borger, a son Richard R. Rosner and wife Kathy of Irving, his best friend Mike Cheatum of Canyon, four grandchildren, Craig Stark, Trey Jones and wife Lacy, Alex Mitchell and husband Steven all of Borger, and Brittnee Hooks and husband Milton of Houston. Seven great- grandchildren, two are due this year. Many more family members including the Albrachts, Casabos, Tom, and Pilgrims, numerous nieces and nephews and many close friends. The family would like to send a special Thank You to the BSA Hospice team for all their care and support.
