James Rountree

James Rountree 79, of Amarillo died Saturday February 2, 2013 in Amarillo. Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday February 17, 2013 at Baptist St Anthonys Hospice Chapel. Cremation and was by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Rountree, was born in Carterville, TX. He served in with the 15th Cavalry in the Army with Elvis Presley. He worked as a pharmacist at Albertsons for many years. He married Carleen Anderson on Thanksgiving Day in 1989. He was preceded in death by his twin bother Joe, a brother Clifton and a son Robert,. He is survived by his wife Carleen; a son Randall James Rountree of Amarillo and a sister, Nettie Jennings of Dallas.
