James A. Stout

Services will be at 10:00 AM Friday at Rector Funeral Home Chapel with Dale Bigham, pastor of Arden Road Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St., Amarillo, Texas. Mr. Stout was born in Amarillo. He married Denice Akins April 26, 1975 at their home. He worked at Amarillo Beef and at Val-Agri. He retired from Maywood in 1993. He was a member of Arden Road Baptist Church for 8 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Loney and Juanita and an infant son, Johnny. Survivors include his wife of the home; 1 daughter, Michelle, 6; and 1 son, Michael, 12; both of the home; 4 sisters Betty Hodan, Judy Sheldon, Brenda Wagner, and Lonita Leal, all of Amarillo; 1 brother, Tommy McEwan of Houston; many nieces and nephews. The family will be at 4207 N.E. 12th and request memorial donations be to Olivia's Angels c/o BSA Hospice.
