James Walker, 57, of Amarillo, died Sunday, August 25, 2002. Memorial services will be at Grace Church, 5511 Amarillo Blvd. West, with Bill Gehm, pastor officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Walker was born in Camden, Tennessee. He has lived in Amarillo for 36 years. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He married Mary Kilburn in 1969 at Amarillo. He was a member of Grace Church. He worked for G.E. Jones for 12 years. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Christina Chuley in 1999, and by a brother, Michael Conlon in 1995. Survivors include: his wife, Mary of the home; 1 daughter Tonja Walker of Amarillo; 2 sons, Bryan Walker and James Walker of Amarillo; 2 sisters, Darlene Lopez, of Arlington, and Jean Collins of Modesto, CA; 8 grandchildren, Cristifer James Stoker, Jeremy D. Stoker, and Shawnee Stoker, all of Woodson, TX, Kirsten and Erik, of New York, Colton Walker of Amarillo, Matthew of CA, and Kaylie Schmerhorn of Amarillo.
