Janie Belle Chambers

Janie Belle Chambers, 64, of Amarillo, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 in Amarillo. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 5, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Fairview Assembly of God Church, with Pastor Cliff Houghton officiating. Interment will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, Osage Chapel. Janie was born in Paris, TX, she moved to Amarillo in 1953 from Turkey. She worked in doors and slats at Maywood Manufacturing for more than 30 years. She was a loving caregiver to her parents until the time of their deaths. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Patsy Stephens, Joyce Edens, and Jackie Nelon. She is survived by two sisters, Bonnie Tartaro and Nora Pratt both of Amarillo; one brother Buford P. Eudy, Jr. of Terrell TX and many nieces and nephews. Memorial donations may be made to Odyssey Hospice, 6900 I-40 W # 150 Amarillo, TX 79106.
