Javier Almanza

Javier Almanza 42, of Amarillo died Friday, January 25, 2013 in Amarillo Services will be at 11:00 AM Monday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Alvino Alvarez, pastor of Word of Faith Ministries officiating. Burial will be at Llano East Cemetery. Arrangements are by of Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Javier was born on October 15, 1970 in Amarillo to Sylvester and San Juana Almanza. He graduated from Caprock High School. Javier was a loving brother, son and uncle. He was always available to listen and lend advice. He will be remembered for his unique laugh that would bring a smile to all that were in his presence. Javier loved listening to his music. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, AnnaBelia Contreras and a brother Sylvester Almanza. He is survived by his Sister Alma Almanza of Amarillo; 2 brothers, Manuel Almanza and his wife Adrienne and Valentine Almanza all of Amarillo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
