Jayson Cornell Potts

Jayson Cornell Potts 65, of Amarillo, died Thursday, August 26, 2021, in Amarillo. Private family services will be at a later date. Cremation was by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Jayson was born on Dec. 20, 1955, in McCook, NE to L.V. and Dorothy (Witt) Potts. He moved to Amarillo in 1964. Jayson worked a bricklayer for several years. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Jon Potts, and his sister Jean Rannals. He is survived by his sister, Joyce Bousquet of Amarillo; his brother, James Potts of Amarillo; his nephew Danny Haire of Amarillo and his niece, Cheryl Cruz of LaPort.
