Jc Essary

JC Essary Jr., 76 of Amarillo passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023, in the comfort of his home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at The Church at Quail Creek. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. JC was born in Amarillo on February 25, 1947, to Pearl and JC Essary Sr. He enjoyed watching football and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys. He also had a passion for reading the Bible. He enjoyed listening to Music, Hank Williams, and Johnny Cash. JC was in bowling leagues and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He never met a stranger and enjoyed befriending people at the church. JC was preceded in death by his wife Carol Elain Essary, His parents, and one brother, Butch Essary. Those left to cherish his memories are his two daughters: Leah Bullard and her husband Eddy, and Holly Webb and her husband Sean, one son, Michael Essary, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way, and his sister, Beatrice Tarr.
