Jeffrey Clayton "" Parker"" Parker, 51 died Friday August 21, 2009. Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday at Oasis Southwest Baptist Church, 8201 Canyon Drive, with Pastor Kurtis Spidel of Faith Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage. ""Parker"" was born August 29, 1957 to Jerry and Barbara Parker in Trenton, Michigan. He attended Caprock High School, served in the Army as a Master Mechanic, and later received his Real Estate Degree at Amarillo College becoming a top producing agent for Action Reality Group in Amarillo. He loved re-building old motorcycles, riding his Harley and his Indian with his brothers of the Southern Monarchs. Jeff was a born again Christian who had a God-given talent for repairing anything and finding humor in most any situation. He had a heart for giving and fervently supported the Downtown Women's Center. He loved spending time with his family and is dearly loved by them all. He was one of six children and was preceded in death by his grandparents Norman and Frances Schwartz and his father Jerry Parker. Survivors include his mother, Babs Peterson and husband Charles of Canyon Lake, Texas; Two brothers, Jerry Parker of Loganville, Georgia; Chip Parker and wife Jennifer of Amarillo; Three sisters, Betsy Hughes and husband Larry of Amarillo; Barbara Metcalf and husband Dan of Spring Branch, Texas; Linda Jordan and husband Scott of Bismarck, North Dakota, as well as six nephews, ten nieces, along with 13 great nieces and nephews and his special brothers of the Monarchs, who will all miss him terribly but also rejoice that he is with the Lord. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Downtown Women's Center.
