Jeffrey Scroggins

Jeffrey Scroggins 46 of Amarillo died Saturday December 5, 2009 in Amarillo. Services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday at South Georgia Baptist Church with Bob Miller, pastor officiating. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Channing Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Jeffrey was born on July 4, 1963 in Amarillo. He graduated from Channing High School in 1981. He worked as a loader with his dad at Western Sand and Gravel for more than 15 years. He was currently employed at Flying Star Transport as a truck driver. He was a member of South Georgia Baptist Church. Jeffrey was a loving husband, father, son and brother. He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Scroggins in 1986 and by a brother Billy Lee Scroggins in 1995. He married Millie Wilcox on February 14, 2004 in Guymon. He is survived by his wife, Millie; 1 son, Callen Scroggins of Dumas; his father and step-mother, Billy J. and Dolores Scroggins of Amarillo, 1 brother Erick N. Scroggins and his wife Vikki of Pinehurst, NC; 1 sister, Jada Jackson and her husband, Michael of Amarillo and numerous other family members. The family suggests memorial donation be to South Georgia Baptist Church Building Fund, 5209 S. Georgia Amarillo, Texas 79110.
