Jennifer Soto, 42, of Amarillo passed on March 20, 2023. The family will receive guests on Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 4pm to 6pm at Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage. Rosary will be said beginning at 6pm in the funeral home's chapel led by Deacon Pablo Morales. Memorial Mass will take place on Friday, March 24, 2023 at 10am at St. Laurence Catholic Church, 2400 N. Spring Street with Father Haider Quintero presiding. Jennifer was born in El Paso, TX to Jesus and Patricia Soto on May 15, 1980. Jennifer was very kindhearted and always nurturing. No matter where she was, she always lit up the room with her amazing sense of humor and made everyone feel so important. Jennifer was also very hard working. It didnt matter where she was or what she was doing she always gave it her all. Inspired so many and cared for everyone by offering the best of advice to anyone willing to listen. She held her family above all else. Her love for her family always shined through any trial or tribulations that stood in her way. She constantly poured love and affection into everyone she cared for. Jennifers kind soul was her most endearing feature and it will be missed dearly. One of the funniest, caring, and stubborn people you wouldve been blessed to meet. Jennifer was preceded in death by her father Jesus C. Soto. She is survived by her mother, Patricia Soto, her two children, Lucio and Melanie Murillo, her sisters, Susan and her husband Justo Alvarado, and Joann Soto, and her two brothers, Jessie and wife, Samantha Soto, and Jacob Soto and partner, Aaron Shelby, her niece, Nayeli Casas, and two nephews, Isaac Ortiz and Andreas Calderon.
