Services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Rev. Robert E. Field, retired Baptist minister officiating. Interment will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Amarillo, Texas. Mrs. Thorn was born in Las Vegas, NM. She moved to Amarillo in 1998 from Clayton. She worked in the accounting department at Amarillo Nursing Center and was a homemaker. She married Billy Thorn in 1998 at Amarillo and was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include: her husband, 2 daughters; Kendra Eibling of Payne, OH and Natasha Thorn of Amarillo, 1 son; Kerry Shelton of Amarillo, her father; J.L. Stewart and his wife Melinda, her mother; Billie Moody of Clayton, 1 sister; June Stewart of Mathis, TX, 1 brother; Jerold Stewart of Livingston, TX and 4 grandchildren. The family requests memorial donations to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
