Jerry Wayne Crawford

Jerry Wayne Crawford 67, of Amarillo died Monday, Nov. 23, 2020. Services will be at 11 am Saturday at The Church at Quail Creek with Dale Moreland, associate pastor officiating. Interment will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Jerry was born in Groom. He graduated from Caprock High School in 1972. He worked at Amarillo Gear for 41 years, retiring in 2016. Jerry married his "after high school sweetheart", Davon Henderson on July 28, 1973 in Amarillo. Jerry loved his family deeply and enjoyed family get-togethers. He loved teaching his grandkids, nieces and nephews how to fish in the family pond at his home. He was often down on the floor playing with the kids and he absolutely loved watching their sports and events. Jerrys kindness and compassion was felt by everyone he ever spoke with. He is missed greatly by his family and are comforted by knowing hes watching over all of his family and friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Homer Crawford & Millie King, Sister Debbie Gaffey And Brother Bo Crawford. He is survived by his wife of 47 years; two sons, Ryan Crawford & his wife Devona and Aaron Crawford of Amarillo; two Sisters, Judy Noyes & husband Jerry of Mesquite and Cathy Taylor & husband Chuck of Blanchard Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Ella Crawford, Maverick Crawford and Kaydance Millsap. In laws Ed & JoAnn Henderson of Amarillo, Sister & Brother in law Don and Diane Hansford of San Antonio, Nieces and Nephews; Michael Crawford, Ethan Crawford, Kim Dranguet, Kara Payne, Bobby Taylor, Kevin Hansford, Wade Hansford, Jill Hansford, and their families.
