Jerry Harvey

Funeral Services will be Friday, February 1, 2002 at 2:00 PM at The Rector Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dale Bigham of Arden Road Baptist Church and Brother Graham Harvey of Temple Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St., Amarillo, Texas. Biography: He was born in Amarillo, TX and was a member of Arden Road Baptist Church. He was in the U.S. Army, stationed in West Germany. Jerry was a 35 year veteran of the Automobile Sales Industry in the Amarillo and Panhandle area. He was the General Manager of Lone Star Chrysler-Plymouth from 1983 until 1993, and then at Midway Chevrolet. He was employed by Westgate Chevrolet for the past seven years. Jerry was preceded in death by his mother Elsie Louise Harvey, his father, Ralph Harvey, one brother, Richard Harvey, and a sister, Elizabeth Wheeler. . Survivors: His wife, Jo Lynn Harvey of the home, a daughter, Brandy Jo Harvey of Plainview, TX. 2 Sons: Jerry Frank Harvey, Jr. of Frisco, TX and Tim Harvey of Artesia, NM. 2 Stepsons: Dwayne Davis and David Davis, both of Amarillo, 2 Sisters: Linda Kay Wagner and Donna Jean Bovee, both of Amarillo. 3 Brothers: Larry Don Harvey, Stephen Wesley Harvey, Jonathan Philip, all of Amarillo. 6 Grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews and family members who loved and admired him.
