Jerry Dean Ledford

A celebration of his life will be at 2:00 pm Friday, October 21 at Immanuel Baptist Church with Jim Ledford, his son, officiating. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery by Rector Funeral Home 2800 South Osage St. Jerry was born on October 30, 1933 in Earlsboro, OK to Joseph and Ada Ledford. He married Martha Hamm in 1956 in Mineral Wells. They were married for 50 years until her passing in 2006. He was a loving husband, father, and PaPa that will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Survivors include 2 daughters, Rebecca Franklin and husband Doug, Millie Bettag and husband Marvin both of Amarillo; 2 sons, Jerry D. Ledford Jr. and wife Brenda of Naylor, GA, and Jim Ledford and wife Terri of Amarillo; 2 brothers, Orivell Smith and wife Corrine of Amarillo, and Jack G. Ledford Sr. of Fredericksburg TX; 2 sisters, Sue Healy of Amarillo, and Sandy K. Smith of CA; 9 grandchildren, AnniSue Mackey and husband Robert Jr., Charity Tweed and husband David, Millie Franklin, Kyle Franklin, Randy Bettag and wife Tadie of Alamogordo, NM, Thomas Ledford and wife Journey of Amarillo, Samuel Ledford, Max Ledford both of Naylor, GA, Shasta Thomas and husband Michael; 11 great grandchildren, Robert Mackey III, Whittney Mackey, Ashley Butts, Lillie Tweed, Kayden Franklin, Damin Franklin, Michael Thomas, Joshua Bettag, Mychaya Bettag, Garren Thompson, Landon Ledford, and several nieces and nephews.
