Jesus 'Chucho' Santos

Jesus "Chucho" Santos, 68, of Estelline died Tuesday, March 8, 2022. Rosary will be recited Monday at 6 pm at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel. Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 10 am Tuesday at St. Josephs Catholic Church with Father Hector Madrigal celebrant officiating. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. Jesus was born June 12, 1953 in San Miguel Curinghuato, Michoacan, Mexico to Margarito Santos and Carmelita Alanis. He met the love of his life, Carmen, in Mexico. They were married for 45 years. He was very hardworking, intelligent, and selfless. Jesus was a very caring person. He was fun, loving, and godly. His passion for the Lord drove him to be a better man every day. He cherished his sons and enjoyed every moment with his grandchildren. Jesus enjoyed playing the accordion. He was preceded in death by his parents and two grandsons; Phillip and Jeremiah Santos. He is survived by his two sons; Lupe Santos and his wife Rosalia, and Omar Santos and his wife LaLena, two granddaughters; Alexis and Layla Santos, three grandsons; Ranson Johnson, Jayden, and Elijah Santos, three sisters; Ernestina, Veronica and Guillermina Santos, four brothers; Andres, Adolfo, Ernesto, and Miguel Santos.
