Jim G. Stockard

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 8 in the Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Jim was born on September 2, 1944 in Ft. Worth. He was raised in Earth, and later moved to Amarillo in 1966. He graduated from West Texas State with a Master's in Music, and worked for Tolzien/Tarpley's Music for a number of years. Jim found pleasure in music and photography. He also enjoyed repairing computers as well. He loved his family dearly, and will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Stockard. Survivors include his 3 sons, Sean Stockard of Dallas, Shane Stockard and wife Michelle of Dahlonega, Georgia, and Christopher Stockard of Austin; 5 grandchildren, Maci, Sade, Shae, Ashton, and Gunner; and a brother, Mike Stockard of Bastrop.
