Jimmy Lloyd Yoakam 69, of Amarillo died Monday, January 9, 2012 in Amarillo. Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM Monday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Ron Sullivan, associate pastor of the First Church of the Nazarene officiating. Cremation and arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Yoakam was born in Amarillo. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He received the Good Conduct Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal He was honorably discharged in 1966. He owned and operated Jim's Salvage until his retirement in 2002 He married Virginia Odom on January 24, 1969 in Amarillo. He attended the First Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by his wife of the home, his son Rusty Yoakam of the home and a sister, Donna Johnson of Amarillo.
