Jo Ann Dillard

Jo Ann Dillard 83, of Amarillo, died Sunday, July 11, 2021. No services are scheduled. Viewing will be Friday and Saturday from 9 am to 8 pm. Cremation will follow. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Jo Ann was born on June 30, 1938 in Burlington to Henry and Rosalee (Fatheree) Busker. She moved to Amarillo in May of 2019 from Harker Heights. She was a homemaker and an exceptional mother. She dearly loved her children and grandchildren and would do anything for them. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed gardening. Jo Ann was also very fond of her dogs, Snoopy and Shiloh. She was a devout Catholic. Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents and a infant daughter Sharon Ann Tucker. She is survived by two sons, Bob Tucker and his wife Kelley of Potsboro and Michael Tucker and his wife Mona of Amarillo; two daughters, Brenda Bath and her husband Ed of Richmond, VA and Patricia Shurtleff of Wills Point; her sister, Dorothy Scherer of Brenham; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The family suggest memorial donations be to the Wounded Warrior Project in lieu of flowers.
