Joanne Eva English

Joanne Eva English, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on September 29th, 2010 in her home. She was sleeping with her pets, and surrounded by family, when she drew her last breath that morning. She was born in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, on January 28th,1940 to Jack and Laura Jason. She held a Masters Degree in psychology, and enjoyed a career as a psychologist in the civil service. She had a level of honesty and integrity that everyone in her life will always strive to reach and admire. She loved to travel, see new things and learn any chance she could. Above all, she believed in always doing the right thing, keeping things fair and making everyone a stronger person. She always went out of her way to help her family and those around her. She will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of being in her life. Joanne is survived by her son Kirk English, daughter Lisa Mayo and husband Dean, grandson Eric English, granddaughters Raeana Mayo, Sabrina Mayo and Jenny English, and brother Mickey Jason.
