Joanne S. Riley

Joanne S. Riley, 79, of Amarillo died Monday, October 11, 2021. No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements and cremation are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. Joanne was born in Baltimore, MD on February 25, 1942, to Joseph and Marie Shrameck. Joanne was a loving, caring, and selfless woman. She made sure her family and friends were well taken care of every day. She was a loving wife who took pride in taking care of her husband until the end of his life. Joanne loved to feed and watch the birds. She loved reading the tabloids and sharing with whoever would listen. She made her family feel safe and secure. Joanne struggled with hearing loss and fought a long battle of COPD, but always had a smile to share with family and friends. She will be missed dearly. Her family is joyous to know she is in heaven now with her husband by her side, family, and Jesus. God bless her. Joanne was preceded in death by her parents, her first and only love, George Riley, her sister, Rose, her brother, John, and one son, John. She is survived by her three daughters; Donna, Linda, and Sherry, and their husbands, David, Rick, and Jesse, her grandchildren, Austin, Aaron, Riley, Ben, Jessica, John, Robert, Justin, John, John, Jessica Rae, and her great-grandchildren, Jocelyn, Daniel, Adalyn, Daxton, Kade, James, Maliki, Jackson, Lydia, Grace, and Abby.
